Group Home Compliance Monitoring
About Group Home Compliance Monitoring
One component of the Performance Monitoring Section in the Out of Home Care Management Division is to conduct annual monitoring reviews of contracted Group Homes (GH) which serve Los Angeles County DCFS placed children. These reviews include program contract compliance reviews of GHs. The purpose of conducting these reviews is to determine if Contractors meet the requirements set forth in the Foster Care Agreement, the Contractor’s program statement and DCFS policies by assessing the Contractor’s service delivery and to ensure that Contractors are providing children with quality care and services in a safe environment, which includes physical care, emotional support, and other services to protect and enhance their growth and development.
