Transition Resource Centers


Local drop-in and Resource center:

Any youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who is currently in foster care or has been in foster care as a dependent youth (DCFS) or ward of the court (Probation) is eligible. This includes all youth whose case was terminated after her/his 16th birthday, including youth who were adopted, returned home to guardians/parents, and those living with relatives (i.e. Kin-GAP).   • Transition Resource Center at Community Build
    Located in the city of Los Angeles. The TRC will be open on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or call us at (323) 565-4241.
  • Transition Resource Center at Edelman Children's Court
    Located in the city of Monterey Park. The TRC will be open Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30p.m. Contact LaSonya Gibbs-Seamster at (323) 526-6034.
  • Transition Resource Center at Mount San Antonio Community College
    A TRC on campus at Mt. SAC! Come visit us. Drop by and find out all the center has to offer you. (909) 594-5273. This center is relocating in April 2007

  • Antelope Valley Transition Resource Center

  • San Fernando Valley Transition Resource Center

  • Transition Resource Center at Wilshire & Normandie Emancipation Program Headquarters
    The Transition Resource Center located at Emancipation Program headquarters (3530 Wilshire Blvd., 4th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90010), is dedicated to providing ILP aftercare services to youth that have been emancipated from out-of-home care. (213) 351-0100
  • Pasadena Alumni Support Center (PASC)
    The Pasadena Alumni Support Center (PASC) offers a comfortable, local drop-in and resource center in Pasadena, California for young adults 14-23 years old, who are emancipating from out of home care.
